AlcMod paces your drinking in real time so that you never end up drinking more than you planned. You will enter information (such as gender, weight, and drinking limits) and the app will use these values to calculate your drinking pace. Once you set your limits the app will tell you how long you should wait until having your next drink. It’s that easy!
It is important to remember that the app uses a formula that ESTIMATES your blood alcohol content and corresponding intoxication. No estimation is perfect and therefore you should not use this app to decide whether or not to make decisions with legal consequences, such as drinking and driving. Drinking and driving is never safe and should always be avoided. Additionally, Social Drinker is meant to slow you’re drinking, you should never speed up your drinking based on information from the app.
